The Shiagog is perhaps the most enigmatic species of the shadow empire worlds. They are a species of Thia. Known for their pale blonde/white hair and brilliant turquoise eyes, that sits upon the deepest of blacks. They were formed in the image of the high elf yet are not even remotely close to being similar to that species, other than appearance. This has led to confusion with elven kingdoms, even war with a few of them, being deemed as shapeshifters and or demons.
They are known to be muscular, and always in peak condition as if chiselled by stone. This is not through exercise, even though all Shiagog train constantly for battle and war on the behalf of the empire. Rather through their trans-corporal being also being projected as such.
Their skin is of a pale, smooth completion which creates a beauty like no other. Intentional formed over the ages to give them a charismatic appearance. Many Terran have fallen in love with them, mixing their beauty and desire for their flesh in mistake of the Shiagogs real intent. Yet that doesn’t matter for it is known to look upon a Shiagog is to become immediately enchanted, as if taken under a spell of the divine.
Many Shiagogs often bear white tattoos of wings and spiralling dragons that contour to their muscle. Specifically, the men tend to have them under their chest muscles and biceps to increase the contour of their form. This both makes them appear to be stronger, at the same time helping to identify them of the role in which they play in their caste.
These markings also serve as a remembrance of the Shiagogs long past that fell in the great wars with the false gods of Terra. They remind them of their actions and to never take their enemy for granted again. Specifically, it reminds them of the great sacrifice of the fourth Thian legion that fell at the battle of AsinDale. An event that changed their people forever…
Elder Shiagogs are also known to turn the tattoos into brands as to never fade. This was in absolute devotion to the Varik Noir for saving the first of them. For allowing them to flourish, to thrive and to live. The brans however even go deeper than that, for they are a vow an oath, that through this act of pain and finalization, this permanent mark. That they will serve the flock of Thia until the final day in which they cannot rise from combat again.
Known for their powerful angelic like wings, the Shiagog have been confused with angels over the years. Depending on which caste of Shiagog they come from, their wings and hair colour will change. Most notably is the Somatu Si’ with the long white flowing wings and brilliant platinum blonde hair. Or that of the Angri Si’ with their onyx blackened wings and hair.
The Shiagog have been seen throughout the eons both condemning and destroying the evil and innocent alike. From rescuing them from the deepest and darkest pits of war, to becoming the worst nightmare of even the most battle harden men. The Shiagogs are both the essence of legend and mythology no matter where you stand. They are deemed to be either demons or angels. Saviours or Tyrants… Depending on which lines of battle that you have vowed too.
The first sign that a Shiagog is about to descend down upon and enemy, or a Thian legion is about to strike is the silhouette of their wings, followed by the eerie greenish hues that outline them as the Oboron of their bodies absorb the energies around them. This makes them unique in identifying and frightening as they are impervious to magic.
Their wings are not permanent however, rather they come from the will of the source and spring from their back in times of need or duty… Their wings provide them with great powers to fight off the most dangerous of foes, even allowing the strongest of Shiagogs to go toe to toe with what they deem to be false gods.
It should be noted however, that Shiagogs don’t need wings to fly. They serve more as an anchor to the source and the flock when outside of Thia, then they do for functionality. In fact, the wings are more used for gliding directly. They propel themselves through the air and gain height by expending source energy to push them. They are capable, especially after the fourth Era of the empire of flying with out wings. However, this trait is unique to elder Shiagogs, Shiagogs whom have mastered the source and amassed a following. This following gives them the power to expel more and more of their energy from the flock and source stream.
The Appearance of the Shiagog have changed over time. Depending on what age of the Empire they appear, indicates how they look. During the first part of the first age of the empire, known as the Age of the Varik Noir. The Shiagogs didn’t possess wings nor the ability to fly. These wings, this gift only occurred after a feat of the Varik Noir himself.
In the fourth age, known as the return of the Shiagog, they bare fangs and thicker nails that bind them to the curse of shadows. Yet it doesn’t matter what age they are from. The Shiagog still upholds their beauty and legends.
