Shiagogs Fall From grace:

Shiagogs Fall From grace:

The Start

The first era of the Empire had come and past. The Varik Noir had vanished from the lands of Thia. An aspect or a fragment of him remained, known as Emperor Gushtal, the aspect of wrath and rage…

In the 1,000 years following the end of the first age of the Empire, Gushtal ruled with steadfast and stone-cold hands. He was a swift in justice, yet a political and cultural master.  He brought culture to Thia, constructing massive and glorious cities. He forged gateways between the Terran worlds and That of the Thian sub-pocket dimension. This allowed for trade and commerce between the dimensions and as such free trade and travel… All was glorious, all was well, a golden age had dawned…

Yet this age wouldn’t last, for as Gushtal’s power grew so didn’t his greed and his paranoia.  All it took was an unnamed traveller to enter Thia. A traveller that was Harrold as a Magi King of the Terran worlds… A traveller who sat in audience in private for three days with Gushtal and spoke dark and wicked words of deceit… Lies in which the Shiagogs had forgotten existed…

Under the warning of a force building in several countries in the realms of Terra. The Unnamed Traveller, his name lost in the records of history, spun stories of imminent threat and war and destruction.

Sending out his scouts, Gushtal searched the Terran lands for these kingdoms and soon came upon a Vast and powerful alliance. That alliance unknown to Gushtal had built a massive force, to protect themselves from a growing threat from the south. As such their outpost, their military force was seen as proof of what the traveller had claimed. That they were building a force to move against Thia.

In Gushtal tactical genius and political mastery, he decided that he would destroy them before they could even step a single foot within Thia. He would first weaken their kingdoms and then clear the threat before they had a chance to strike even a single Shiagog down.

Sending Legion after Legion, Gushtal sent the highly trained and powerful Shiagogs to disrupt their cities states, disconnecting them from their capitals. Soon their infrastructure would collapse and with it, their population was driven to insanity and desperation.  This was just the beginning… Hundreds of thousands had now been murdered, slaughtered in the streets… If not millions…

Thai’s acts of aggression forced the hands of the twelve kings of Westshire to assemble. In their desperation, they formed a military pack with the forsaken draconian gods from the south and launched attacks on old and forgotten Imperial Temples… This was a desperate attempt to show Gushtal that they would not stand back and allow his barbarism to go unanswered. Little did they know; they had been deceived. The Draconian gods were old enemies of the Thians, mostly destroyed in the first age, what remained now attempted to gather power, knowing the onslaught in which was to come.

Following the attacks on Thian outpost and the attacks on Thian temples and small villages that lined the gateways. Gushtal found that the unnamed traveller had been telling the truth. Before he had been reserved in his attacks. He had only targeted essential outpost needed for sustaining of their militaries. However, with the mass show of force, it was clear that Thia was under threat of open war…. Ordering all one-hundred and twenty-seven legions to attack into Terra from the empire, Gushtal meant to teach them a lesson they couldn’t ignore.
